88 West Basketball AAU Basketball Team Terms and Conditions

By registering and participating in the 88 West Basketball AAU Basketball Team, you agree to abide by the following terms and conditions:

1. Eligibility:

  • Players must fall within the specified age group to join the team.

  • All players must be registered AAU members, and their membership fees are their responsibility.

2. Commitment:

  • Members are expected to attend all practices, games, and team events.

  • Notify the coaching staff in advance if you are unable to attend a scheduled event.

  • Consistent participation is crucial for the team's success.

3. Code of Conduct:

  • All players, coaches, and parents are expected to maintain a high standard of sportsmanship and respect for others at all times.

  • Any disrespectful behavior, bullying, or harassment will not be tolerated.

4. Financial Obligations:

  • Players are responsible for all team fees, including registration and uniform.

  • Payment deadlines and amounts will be communicated in advance.

5. Practice and Game Schedule:

  • The team will provide a schedule of practices, games, and tournaments in advance.

6. Uniforms and Equipment:

  • Players are responsible for the care and return of team uniforms and equipment.

  • Players should have their own medical insurance coverage.

9. Player Development:

  • Players and parents are responsible for staying informed and responsive.

11. Termination of Membership:

  • The team reserves the right to terminate a player's membership for violations of these terms and conditions or disruptive behavior.

12. Waiver of Liability:

  • Players and their parents/legal guardians acknowledge and accept the inherent risks associated with participating in basketball.

  • The team, coaches, and facility owners are not responsible for injuries sustained during team activities.
